Emily Knoles is an experienced associate attorney with Peretz & Associates since 2005, practicing in the areas of employment and labor disputes, including individual and class action disputes, landlord-tenant, elder abuse and special education law. Ms. Knoles has extensive law and motion practice, mediation and trial experience and shares the firm’s vision of assertive advocacy. During her time at Peretz & Associates, Ms. Knoles has assisted in the settlement and resolution of numerous cases.
Prior to joining Peretz & Associates, Ms. Knoles worked as a special education attorney with the Leigh Law Group, representing students with disabilities in Federal Court litigation, Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings, resolution sessions and administrative due process hearings.
Ms. Knoles obtained her undergraduate degrees at the University of Southern California and then attended Pepperdine University School of Law. While obtaining her J.D., Ms. Knoles became a certified mediator through the internationally renowned Strauss Institute Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine University. Ms. Knoles has mediated cases in many areas of law including insurance, personal injury, political campaign, privacy and employment disputes. Her experience as a mediator is effective in assisting in all stages of litigated disputes.
Ms. Knoles obtained her law degree in 2005 from Pepperdine University School of Law. She is a member of the State Bar of California, the American Bar Association and the San Francisco Bar Association. Ms. Knoles is qualified to represent clients in California state and federal courts.
